Abstract
Functional bootstrapping combines ciphertext refreshing with the evaluation of a target function. In CKKS, this is commonly handled by representing the target function as a trigonometric polynomial over the exponential basis. SWIFT develops a shallow and SIMD-aware CKKS functional bootstrapping method for low-latency encrypted computation, reorganizing the evaluation around shallow homomorphic depth and packed-slot parallelism.
